Our Mission



Our mission is to PROCLAIM the Gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Christian FAITH, to maintain the WORSHIP of God, revealing Jesus through BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS, and to inspire in all persons and families a LOVE for CHRIST, a passion for RIGHTEOUSNESS, and an AWARENESS of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to DEMONSTRATE His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and MINISTRY to the needs of the people of this church and the community.

Our Leadership







​Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Led by Pastor Ernest E. Peachey Sr., we desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

At Second Baptist we desire to see every person develop an intimate relationship with God through a personal prayer life. We grow in together in prayer on Wednesdays at 6:00pm and praying together on the weekend before and during service. Prayer invites the power and presence of God into our lives to accomplish His plans and purposes.
